A turnaround and numerous problems at the plant i worked at at the first quarter of the year along with a 1yr old baby girl slowed me down big time and my dang hip took care of the last couple months. ......can't complain much though, gotta have a little change in your pocket to go to the woods anyhow.
Ive got a whole different gameplan for 2014. Im gonna go when I want to and hunt how i want to even if it means goin by myself. I dont care much for going to the woods with guys that make it a race to every bay and now with this dang hip i wont be able to hang with em anyhow, i have a feelin i'll be doin alotta bayin and shootin solo this year due to the fact that currently i cant barely get out of my own way much less get out of the way of an angry hog lol. I caught 226 in 2009 (last time I kept count) with some of the sorriest dogs I ever had, Lord these dogs must really "STINK"!!!!!
Although I do keep a decent count of game caught with my dogs, it holds VERY little value on the quality of dogs we all have!!! I hope we all don't get the wrong ideal about this little survey!!!! Started 2014 off with a good start of 3 yesterday

I hope this topic takes off. We have a meeting in a few days here in ar discussing hog hunting and transport. These numbers could help for stats. No number of hogs caught doesn't define the dog. Some places have more hogs than others. Then u got places like hog tied hunts where the hogs hunt the dogs then lay down. Shotgun Arkansas Title: Re: What's your number???
