Title: The girls last hog of the week! Post by: cward on August 23, 2009, 05:38:29 pm Well guys here is a few pictures of the last hog of the week that I will be able to catch as I go back to school Monday. :-[ In the picture is me and Dinha (DJhogdoggers). This was our first hunt together and even though we only caught one we had a blast together. After today she and James understand why those of you who know me give me such a hard time and why I am able to give it back so well! ;D The picture was taken down in the Trinity River bottoms this morning. The little hog weighed about 110-120 lbs and had some little pokers on him. He bayed right on the edge of what should have been a slough but is only a mud hole now with this drought we are having. He was in the wide open there with only a little tall water type grass and some cypress knees surrounding him. At the time we had Dinha's dogs down and two brindle dogs that belonged to the man who invited us to hunt there. The bay looked great! I really hated to catch the hog because I was enjoying it so much! But between me, Dinha, and the dogs he didn't stand a prayer. We made short work of him!!! He then got castrated and turned back loose for another day when he will hopefully be a little bigger and badder! (The picture was taken exactly where we dropped him). Well like I said I am off to school Monday so it won't be until next weekend when we get back to the woods but, I hope to be able to collect a few more pictures at that time for yall's viewing pleasure. Crystal told the dogs Yall can't come up with something better than that then she was going to replace them!!!!Chance
