Title: 2008 Rhino 450 for sale or trade WITH TITLE Post by: justincorbell on February 24, 2014, 11:16:29 am Let me start by saying I am in no way trying to pass this buggy off to someone without telling you the issue with it. I bought this bike a while back from a member here (can't remember his name but its on the title) when I bought the buggy it was smoking like a locomotive so I brought it to bartlett cycle and had the top and bottom end of the motor completely rebuilt to the tune of almost 1900$. this past friday night while hunting I managed to damage something in the rear end, I believe that I sheared the gears in the rear end as it started popping and then I lost forward and reverse motion while in 2wd, I locked the buggy in 4wd and drove it back to my trailer over a mile away and loaded it without issue. The buggy starts first try every time and runs like a top, I don't have the receipts on hand but im sure I can call bartlett cycle and get the paperwork for everything they did. It has a brand new 170$ gel battery in it along with ALL new bearings and 2 new cv boots, I have put quite a bit of money into it since I bought it. the buggy has 27'' outlaws all the way around and a 2" lift, it was snorkled when I bought it and I had the guys at bartlett cycle check to make sure that the snorkels were properly installed, i've never needed them as I go around any hole that would require their use. This has been strictly a hunting buggy for myself and my other 1/2 and has not been mudded on once since the day I purchased it. The fella I bought it from used it to run people and decoys back and forth from his duck blind so it did see mud/water when he had it BUT it has been completely rebuilt and serviced since then. The buggy has a hard abs plastic roof with 4 speakers molded into it, 2 speakers are brand new along with the cd/am/fm/mp3 player head unit all of which is marine grade. The roof also has 4 bright lights across the front with individual toggle switches. I will take pictures this evening when I get home, don't let the plastics fool you, with exception to the above listed issue it is a solid buggy......hell other than the gears in the rear end there ain't much on it thats not new lol. I tote 6 dogs and a cooler in the bed plus another passenger and it hasn't left me stranded yet (even friday night ;D)
I have invested almost 7000$ into this buggy and I am well aware that I wont get my money back out of it but I refuse to take a huge loss on it either. As it sits today I am FIRM at 4000$ cash non negotiable, if I can't sell it for that I will have bartlett fix the rear end and order new green plastics for it then sell it for a decent amount more. I WILL trade this buggy outright for the right 4wheeler, im pretty set on another honda but I will entertain other offers, the bike must be at least a 350 but preferably a foreman or rubicon, it must be 4x4 in good shape not dogged out, NO BELT DRIVEN fourwheelers please. I am also looking for a 16-20' tandem axle lowboy trailer as well, if you have the the right 4 wheeler / trailer combination let me know and I will add money to even out if necessary. I WILL NOT trade for anything that eats, period! please don't waste my time. If you would like pictures please text me and I will get them to you as soon as I can, also I can provide a short video of the buggy starting up as well as the stereo and all lights working ( i know its not much but it may sway you one way or another. Please send me pictures of any potential trade offers you may have through text or email. If you would like to come look at it and drive it around the yard you are more than welcome to, shoot me a text or email and we can figure out a good time.
