I just wanted to say how sorry I am to my veteran friends in this sport and to those stand up men and women that truly love the dogs and do the sport justice. I just witnessed a video on facebook of a teenager in Atoka Oklahoma throwing a young bulldog off a high bridge onto the hard ground below to die because it "wouldn't catch hogs". This is the very thing that will put an end to it all very soon,i retired my pack a short while back and have transitioned into some staghound varmint dogs for enjoyment,i simply can not understand why these kids feel the need to buy a dog box and a bulldog and call them selves hoghunters,never knowing the front end of a good dog from the rear!!!!! If anyone knows who the responsible parties were or anyone involved with the filming etc,post up what you know.......these maggots need to be run off from this game for good,or everyone is going to lose!!!!!!! Rant over.

He's in jail from what I heard. Hope they prosecute all of them, the one shooting the video and anyone else that was there.

Dusty belvin is in major trouble over it. The dog lived and is in a shelter right now. With the amount of out cry the judicial system with have a heavy hand with this case. The video was hard to watch.

That's just terrible. Takes such a coward to do thing like that to an animal. Absolute piece of garbage....

Why I don't hav a Facebook. Got enough of a temper as it is. I'm a kid but I still don't call myself a hog hunter but I've now had the same 2 dogs I started with and they worked for me then and they do now. If you can't take care of your dogs properly and do stupid stuff like that just for entertainment. The guys that tought me everything I know about hunting and got my dogs from would come get everything I had related to hog hunting and whip my ass purple if they ever caught me pulling a stunt like that. I'm not saying dogs shouldn't be culled but only for the right reasons and it needs to be done properly.

I'm at a loss for words. I just don't understand what would make someone want to throw a dog off a bridge.  I hope those kids pay for what they did to that poor dog.

I so very new to the sport, and crap like this scares me to no end, because it will make it illegal.  More evidence for the SPCA and PETA.

I, like the original poster, hold my hand out there for you true dog men (and women) who love this sport and your dogs and would never thing of treating an animal this way. There are ways to get rid of an animal humanely if that's your only option. 

It's the epitome of a coward to treat an animal like that.  Kids probably got mental issues and or suffered abuse as a child.  Really no other excuse other than he's a bad egg.

my opinion on the matter is if they don't hit him hard for this then he's just gonna do it to a human... My experience is a man treats his dogs well usually does the same to humans... Opposite is also true.
