Title: Just some yella dogs Post by: Florida Curdog on April 04, 2014, 10:12:41 pm Tick & Ruby. Tick is right at a year old. He's winding off the 4 wheeler & catching pretty good. If he turns out half as good as ruby I'll be happy.

Title: Re: Re: Just some yella dogs Post by: Florida Curdog on April 05, 2014, 07:06:36 pm He's 8 years old. The same age as Ruby. They are litter mates out of my old Honey gyp & a rank old Florida dog I had named Goofy.

We spoke about breeding one of my gyps to him later this year. Florida cur dog you said you have a litter mate to levi? I'd like to see some pics and info of her and the parents.

Would catch any hog she stopped but would back up & bay if she got tired if you took a while to get to her. As soon as you or another dog got there she would catch. Goofy was the same way but was about 70 pounds. I have to see if I have any pictures of him around

She will usually catch your average hog 150 & under solo depending on terrain. I hunt her off a 4 wheeler 99% of the time. I just ride & let her wind.
