Title: buying and selling hogs ? Post by: txmaverick on September 03, 2009, 07:47:28 am See several posts about selling hogs but with the new laws it would seem like a risky venture at best. My question is has anyone had problems with transporting hogs you have bought or sold.
I know one man here had Texas Parks and Wildlife waiting at his gate when word got out he had bought hogs. Title: Re: buying and selling hogs ? I have talked to more than one Game Warden about transporting hogs and they can care less....atleast the ones in my area. In fact one of them said he didnt know it was illegal and it wasnt a TPWD law...so he wouldnt enforce it. I was told that TAHC regulates the transportation of hogs but does not have the man power to enforce. That being said....Im not condoning illegal transport of hogs...just stating what I was told.
