Title: Lost dog in Leon county.
Post by: Lance on April 15, 2014, 01:20:18 am
My friends dog came up missing while hunting Sunday in Concord, which is between Marquez and Centerville. Yellow gyp with black mask. She had collar with name plate and DC 40. She was on a county road and we watched her start moving ( on the Garmin ) faster than a dog can run. I think someone picked her up. Her collar was new with a fresh charge and it lost communication and never picked it back up. If anyone has any info call me at 936-446-0869. Thanks.

sucks all around !!!!    I think most of it is these dang garmins , not just stealing dogs any more .  but stealing the gear on the dogs . we need a lot tougher legislation to cover the theft of hunting dogs , [ didn't ever think I would say we need more government ] , but it seems to be an open market now days with not much re-course from the state when this happens . I know first hand after the duke deal . if I owned a yeller dog every one would be freeze branded . they are next to impossible to find being as they are all so familiar in looks .  I hope your dog turns up .

My son has some friends that go to high school there, I will get him to see if anyone has heard of anything, or trying to get rid of either. You never know, someone might be bragging.....
