Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: KevinN on June 26, 2014, 10:20:38 am She sounds like a good one Jimmy! Just like my Preacher....silent till he's looking at one....or...if they break he stays open a bit but will shut up if he falls to far behind. Then back to that bawl when he's looking at them again. Love it!
Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: KevinN on June 26, 2014, 10:22:05 am Oh....and she is a LOOKER to....maybe not as good lookin as my Preacher...but ; )
Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: TexasHogDogs on June 26, 2014, 11:13:47 am Thanks yall. I didn't know how much I missed that hound Bawl till she started talking to that Sow LOL. Kevin if she keeps a tight mouth and turns out maybe one day we can breed her to your male and hopefully make some tight mouth on track Blu Tic's. Hell I like having her around just to hear the music if nothing else and if she does start to open on track and get loud mouthed I will just keep her on the wheeler and turn her loose once they strike just to hear the bawl LOL. My buddy was gonna use her as a brood type gyp because she was bred so well a Smokey Mountain bred gyp but she half way prolapsed and he didn't want to mess with her. I been giving her some Probotics which helps straighten out the hormones and everything else in a dogs system and the third day of giving it to her she went back down to normal size . That probiotics can solve a lots of problems in a dog just by getting the digestive system right again and get everything in their system back on target . A lot of people don't understand it all starts in the gut !
Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: KevinN on June 26, 2014, 05:54:17 pm Yeah Jimmy....Preacher was just getting going good when I layed him off for about 4 1/2 months. He was uh....fond of Bambi ;D when he was younger so to make sure we got started off on the right foot his first hunt back I didn't turn him out till we got a bark (I heard the sounder rallying) and I knew it was a pig. His second hunt that week was an area where there aren't any deer so I just let him run and he fell right back into it. He was working hard that nite and impressed me. I'll be getting him back out again as soon as I
Get back from vacation. Turning him out to a bark has worked REAL well for me the few times I've done it. That was always a plan of mine if he was open....or I couldn't break him off deer rolleyes Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: Reuben on June 26, 2014, 06:20:15 pm got a horn on her !! lol that's a good looking gyp . x2 on the horn...and she is built about perfect in my eyes from what I can see... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: TexasHogDogs on June 28, 2014, 10:31:43 pm Well got to take the Blu Tic gyp today on her first hunt..... Ole boy told me she had been to the woods more than a few times and he had most always kept her on the cart till the big dogs bayed and turned her into the bay were she did really really well. Also a couple times he put her on the ground she done well and was quite and offered no mouth with the older dogs till they were bayed. He just wanted to keep her on the cart to keep her for trashing till she knew what she was hunting because he does not have a trash breaker Ecollar. Well I wanted to see what kinda hunt this gyp offered because I cannot stand a dog to hang around my wheeler young are not they need to atleast show some effort in my opinion because they wont stick around long here if they don't young are what ever. Well she hit the ground running surprised the hell out of me you can say . She hung with the big dogs and stuck with my Whitey gyp most the day till she got side tracked LOL ..... She ran across a deer and buddy it was on to say the least !!!!!!!!!! What she didn't know is I knew there were deer there and I was ready and had a very itchy trigger finger on the Tri Tronics . Sure nuff here they came and right out in the open were its gonna happen every time on this place for a young dog she was smoking on that deers asssssssssss! I let them get out in the open and I blew both front tires out from under her LOL she did a few summer sauses got up and tired it again this time I blew out both back tires so to speak . She did another summer sause are two and she was ass deep n the throttle back to me with me hollering at her the whole way . Lmao ! She got back to the cart I hollered at her a few times put her on the leash and put her on the cart . So my White gyp is gone younder a over mile away treed, Horn heard all the racket and came to the blu gyp thinking something was going on so I grabbed him and we headed to the truck . Half way there I dropped them on the ground to let them run the rest of the way back and then turned around and the Blu Tic gyp was gone again LOL this time I could hear her bawling and Horn went to her full throttle and then we met him half way to her and I said the bitch is at it again LOL so I get in there and she is in some thick thick thick stuff and I could not tell if there was a hog in there with her are not so we turned the bulldog loose ole Bo and he blew in there with her and came out so I got closer and she was tit ars deep in a Dilla hole so here we go again she got another treatment came out like nothing happened and I put her on the cart and her day was over LOL. I will say this when that gyp figures out she is a hog dog its gonna be Katy bar the damn door because that gyp had a ton of hunt and aint skeered to roll bro ........... I will keep her on the cart now the next four five times out since I know what kinda hunt she has and send her to the bay to learn what she is hunting and I bet the gyp picks it up pretty dang fast .....To say the least Am kinda hard on dogs especialy if they didn't come from me and this gyp has got my attention that's for sure , We'll see !
Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: TexasHogDogs on June 28, 2014, 10:37:23 pm O yeah LOL ...................My White gyp ened up over two miles away on my buddys place way way around on another country road bayed , we met him at the gate and went in and nailed a little hog about 150 lbs are so .......Pretty good day I think . The best part to me was getting that Blu tic gyp straighten out on what she is doing and her showing out and don't even know what is going on yet !

Title: Re: Blu Tic'in Post by: KevinN on June 29, 2014, 12:43:52 pm Welcome to the club Jimmy! Ha! Ol Preacher use to run the hell out of deer when they'd pop up in front of him. Probably still would if I wasn't careful! He's never trashed on anything else though (knock on wood!).
