Title: Bulldog breeding
Post by: MrsLouisianaHogDog on July 08, 2014, 06:00:26 pm
We'll, I'm doing this breeding. I don't breed often but my male is getting up in age so it don't want to regret it later if I keep holding out and I lose him. I'm doing this breeding for me, but all depending on how many she drops...a couple may be available to a working home to someone who knows this breed and is able and willing to handle and work a dog like these. I guess I'm just throwing this out there so that if anyone here may be interested they can let me know. I like to try and have a couple working homes lined up in case I get a bigger size litter. These pups should make for some good reliable future catch dogs. FYI I'm no nut job but I will be asking some questions to anyone seriously interested. I don't let dogs/pups go off my yard often and there's reasons for that. Fingers crossed she takes. This is a heavy Six Bits breeding. Here is the online pedigree.

That's a very very nice breeding .  If I was still in the bulldogs I would be busting your door down for one .  I can remember the days a 8 week old pup bred like that would sell for a 1000.00 bucks no questions ask and could not keep enuff of them.

Thank ya sir. These should make for some good all purpose pups that'll be willing to do whatever job you ask of em. The bitch was bred here, but I went to Alabama and actually purchased Clutch. ( I thought that much of him) a few years back. It's about time I get some offspring off him!

Here's a pic of a pic I just found. This is Pao's sire Stonewall with the first hog he found and caught solo. He was a one dog show....truly one of a kind. Legs for days too! We miss him a lot. Always makes me smile to remember the times we'd grab his vest, and he'd start 'dancing' from being so excited because he knew we were going hunting. He was taken too soon. :/

Well.....I had one other older retired girl of mine bred....an very disappointed that she didn't take....BUT...
This lil girl here is already looking very promising! I'm pretty convinced she took, my ol man thinks so too....and if we're right, she's looking like she's gonna have a hefty litter!

Thanks guys! I'm tickled to death.
Clutch weighs about 40-45 pounds...he's a lot of substance in a smaller package...

Two weeks old today, eyes opening! I forgot how much fun pups are. Got their first deworming today. My four year old future Dogwoman helped with the process. I was so proud.

Nice looking pups for sure. Just wondering the few that look lighter in color do you think they will be fawn or reddish I sure do like the fawn buckskin ones you have posted

Thanks!
The lighting is very odd in the photos thanks to artificial indoor lights plus my cell phone flash :/
They are all black or seal (reddish highlights).
The one big female that's a light seal is pretty cool. All her points are black.
