Title: Re: heat stroke!! Post by: Shotgun wg on August 25, 2014, 06:40:52 pm If I can't feed my dogs without being soaking wet with sweat I aint turning them loose. Losing a dog do to a hog is bad enough. On account of heat just makes it worse to me. Never fails its gonna be the pup with the most potential or the old dog that performs the best. I sure hate it happend to y'all.

Post by: GOODEN on August 25, 2014, 10:45:55 pm Me and a good buddy of mine lost a jam up treeing walker a few years back due to a heat stroke, when the vet looked at him he said it wasn't the first he'd had. I still remember it well!! It's a hard pill to swallow. I haven't had my dogs out n over 2 months cause it still comes to my mind on what can happen.
LAKE HAVEN KENNELS Title: Re: heat stroke!! Post by: dub on September 03, 2014, 09:34:08 pm Well down here it is hot all the time. The worst thing to happen was air conditioning. It allowed people that can't take the heat to come down and stay. Working in heat down here is like working in the cold in Alaska. Sorry you lost your dog. Sometimes no matter your best effort stuff happens.
