Today I had my best bay pen dog break his clip on his chain, I've been out of town all weekend and this is what I return to, no cash singing a toon when the I pull up. He will be in the college station area, he's very important to me. I have a junky collar on him right now because my new ordered ones haven't arrived. Real glad you got him located, Im sure you are gonna love that guy even more. I had a cur and a bulldog wonder off one day. They were missing for 10 hours and it had me sick! I spray painted a sign on a 4x8 sheet of plywood and nailed it to a tree down on the blacktop road-by 10 pm a guy called me and they were at his house like it was home! 3.5 miles south! I learned then to keep collars with ID tags at all times

  A word of advise & worth what you paid for it.   Get your dogs microchipped. Collars can be removed but any dogs brought in to pounds or SPCA's are scanned.
  Tractor Supply co. around here has Vet days once a month to vaccinate dogs & they will microchip dogs too at discounted prices.

I second the microcipping. U also can go to recivalanimalhealth.com and order them singles or in bulk.  They sell scanners too, but unless your a breeder , per se , u probably wouldnt have a use for ascanner.  I dont work for revival, i know everytime about anything comes up i recomend them. Its just that i've used them for probably 10 yrs now and have never been disappointed in their service or products. There's a place caled "Jeffers" that is very comparable to revival, but they are located in my home state so i get charged tax on purchases, so i use revival instead. Glad you found your buddy, thats a happy ending to a potentially bad story
