But order a staple gun and stitches on line. If you can get your hands on so lidocaine for numbing

Field Guide: Dog First Aid Emergency Care for the Hunting, Working, and Outdoor Dog Just as important, if not more, than what is in your kit is knowing how to respond to the different scenarios you may run into. I had to resort to a tourniquet about 5 weeks ago when nothing else was working and then had to deal with shock setting in. Had I not known the steps to take, I would have lost my catch dog. While lots of us are somewhat familiar with how to handle a range of things none of us know it all. Heck even practicing vets have to refer to other info.
