What is the best things to keep in your cut kit? What do yall have in your cut kit?

There are kits on line look them up write down all the thing they have then go to Walmart and Walgreens and get most of it and go to tractor supply and get some horse wrap it's good for every thing. But order a staple gun and stitches on line. If you can get your hands on so  lidocaine for numbing

Along with most of the stuff on that list I also keep a copy of this book in my med kit:
Field Guide: Dog First Aid Emergency Care for the Hunting, Working, and Outdoor Dog
Just as important, if not more, than what is in your kit is knowing how to respond to the different scenarios you may run into. I had to resort to a tourniquet about 5 weeks ago when nothing else was working and then had to deal with shock setting in. Had I not known the steps to take, I would have lost my catch dog.

I can definately see where this book could be handy. While lots of us are somewhat familiar with how to handle a range of things none of us know it all. Heck even practicing vets have to refer to other info.
