The owners could hav pcs'ed from germany and brought the dogs with them. The dogs coulda been taken to germany by a soldier n then given/sold to a family that just got to germany

Lot of guys had hard core dogs that would keep Jody at bay. I learned many yrs ago just cuz you don't think it's true don't mean it ain't true. To stay out of the mud means you have to walk around it
