They are still still in the oven, just wanted to get a head start.  This was not a planned breed, although I am sure they will be good.  While loading dogs for a hunt Luke (which most of yall have seen in my pics) managed to romance Kate (my BMC).  I know, I know, very un responsible on my part.  She was past her cycle (I thought).  Which is why I am giving them away.  Luke was an exception to hunting, he is the only mixed bred dog I own that has "earned his keep" at the kennels.  Been baying hogs since his first trip out, Kate is a good bmc that I bred to Pistol last year with high hopes on her pups.  Hope I can find a home for em.

do you have an idea on what the pups might be? Breed wise? I hate it when that happens.

Here they are, as you can tell Luke has some shepard in him.  Been a topic before, some say he has some saddle back in him who knows.  I know he likes to hog hunt.

Thanks for the compliments, just gave the last girl away.  There is no telling what ol Luke has in him ;D  Wish I knew because he is my main dog.  I acquired him from a guy in easttexas who said he was killing his chickens.  I saved him from a bullet and in return has filled his end of bargain by finding lots of hogs ;D He told me on the phone that he was a BMC, you can imagine my surprise when I saw him. :o

Actually old time blackmouth curs can have a saddleback. I ran across a friend who has been breeding his own bloodline of BMCs for over 50 years. His dad and grandpa bred from that bloodline also so they often were either regular colored BMCs or saddleback ones.

He is definately saddleback, just not sure where the "flag" tail and long hair came from.  Could be a cross with the old saddlebacks.....
