THOSE PICTURES SHOULD BE WHAT MOST EVERYONE SHOULD WORK TOWARDS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THAT MANY DOGS THEY NEED TO BE PUT AWAY SAFELY JSUT LIKE THAT, NOT JUST TIED OUT ANYWHERE YOU HAVE ROOM. GOOD JOB.
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: Circle C on September 29, 2009, 01:56:35 pm Sure the kennels look great, and from all outward appearances the dogs look healthy. Seeing the $$$ tied up in kennels, gear, and such..How do you justify this?
Quote I know for a fact his broken tooth bothers him cause he's always opening his mouth in the pens and if you mess with it he jurks away. It was going to cost to much to pull it .... Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: TexasJ on September 29, 2009, 02:01:53 pm Real nice set up. I especially like your sink.
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: uglydog on September 29, 2009, 02:04:38 pm You own a pet Deli? I see the sign with dog treats behind the stailess steel grooming sink?
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: Bump on September 29, 2009, 02:06:15 pm You have a nice set up and lots of shade. Pens seem to be a little tight but if they are getting exercise....don't see a problem.

There is no need to be hunting. That is your everyday responsibilities. Think everything in those pictures are what most hog hunters have or should have. Seeing the $$$ tied up in kennels, gear, and such..How do you justify this? Me and my dad are in it together, its a family thing, I don't know how long the tooth has been broken for all I know it could of been like that when he was givin to me, I just happened to look the other day. It doesn't bother him, he's a happy dog, i just put orajel on it in case it did start to hurt when he caught a hog, most of the time i go by myself so it would be dangerous for him to keep regripping. If he wouldn't eat and stuff i would get it fixed, right now i'm on a tight schedule cuz i just got laid off!!!Quote I know for a fact his broken tooth bothers him cause he's always opening his mouth in the pens and if you mess with it he jurks away. When we get some footage I'll let you see it!!!Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: nosightsneeded on September 29, 2009, 04:28:02 pm WHERE DID YOU BUY THAT FIRST SET OF KENNELS? Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: Caney Creek Hog Doggers on September 29, 2009, 04:36:45 pm just the pens cost $3500, there got dipped in galvanize, we are going to add on to them simply cause we want to get a few more dogs. We are going to use the same material and pattern as they did, we averaged the cost of doing it ourself $1800. Soon as my dad gets home I'll get the info to you if you still want it!!!
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: cantexduck on September 29, 2009, 09:28:59 pm just for your info- I have had two teeth pulled out of my bulldog/s. Cost was 18 bucks for the 1st and 20 for the 2nd. One was already loose and the second was as well but it took over an hr to do each one. Call around and find a old school vet. The pain of catching a hog will make him let go. Ever have a bad tooth ache.
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: cward on September 29, 2009, 09:36:10 pm Hey duck I think he got it taken care of it was on his other thread he said he had it checked!!!
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: ppc dogos on September 30, 2009, 09:31:50 am Great looking kennels, equipment and dogs.
It is our experience with 14-16 dogos for many years that the more organised and fit the kennels, crates etc. are, the easier the routines are with feeding, cleaning and you win time to work the dogs having them in a good way. Thanks for sharing, B Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: dontejuan on September 30, 2009, 02:36:09 pm Looks like you got a lot of order over there. Simple but nice. Very well thought out to cover all situations.
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: dontejuan on September 30, 2009, 02:45:29 pm Not to hijack your thread but I know a guy in North Texas that can build those kennels for less the cost and has a cover as well.
He is building me 6 kennels basically a 3 hole and 3 hole which should be done next week. I don't want to put price but he can negotiate. I looked at tractor supply with less quality and can say it's a great great deal. Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: BLUE LACY on September 30, 2009, 03:12:40 pm Thats a nice set up! :o
Title: Re: Pics of my place and kennels Post by: Caney Creek Hog Doggers on September 30, 2009, 04:02:48 pm Thanks to all who replied, I try real hard to make sure the dogs get a good, clean place to stay, I still have one thing left to do to my pens, I tried to complete it today but had to much other stuff to do. Soon as I get it done I'll post it so I can see what ya'll think!!!
