Title: Good Boar 6-6-15 Post by: Mike on June 06, 2015, 07:10:44 pm Underdog, Peachcreek and I turned out on wheat field this morning at daylight. Dogs trailed off the back of the field and found big boy in his bedroom. After a short jog, he settled down and cooperated.

Left a pup loose and loosened him off to let him stand on his own. He was a couple pounds lighter in the back end. >:D It's one of my hunting buddies.

Title: Re: Good Boar 6-6-15 Post by: Reuben on June 18, 2015, 08:06:13 pm glad to hear it went that way...years ago my brother was going to man handle a boar that weighed close to 200 pounds that we were using for training the young dogs...He was a all South Texas center in High school so he thought he could handle that hog...I wasn't there to see it happen but he now wears a couple good scars on his legs because of it...
