I have a 5 week old puppy that his equilibrium is off. when he walks he stumbles , when he is just sitting his head wobbles. he has been wormed twice @ 2 weeks & 4weeks. anybody have a puppy ever act like this ??

My ex had a pup few years ago that was doin that. I beleve the conclusion we came to was parvo. She acted like she had been spinning in circles and real dizzy. Got to where she realy couldnt even walk. I ended up puttin her down cuz neither one of us had money for any serious vet action. Hope thats not the case for you bud.

My buddy had to put acouple pups down like that a rott and something else I think it's called wobblers syndrome.

ok seriously, dogs do that when theyve eaten compost, its from the fungus that grows on old food. You could give it some activated charcoal if you think it ate something bad. My friend had a puppy that had parvo and an old indian man told him to give it tobacco, he took some chewing tobacco and made a small wad and made the pup swallow it and that puppy got better, he said it was remarkable.

My bulldog will knock a beer over on purpose and drink every bit of it as fast as he can. I hope you get it worked out though , i would hate to see a pup like that.

Its an ear infection.    Take it to vet and get antiboitics.

I would go with Oconee.  Ear infection causes equilibrium to be off and causes problems with balance.  It if was Parvo there would be many other major symptoms like high body heat, starvation, lethargic..and the pup will be dead in a couple days.

Ticks will do it to a grown dog

Ear mites will cause the same thing !!!

ear infection sounds treatable , can I give  the pup 1cc of antibiotics 

Man I don't want to be negative but it kinda sounds like parvo we had 6 pups acting the same way.

I don't think parvo he has been like this for a week

if it was parvo there would be bloody nasty smelling poop, diarrhea.

My puppy done this a few months back. Even came to hitting her jaw on the floor everytime she walked. Ended up being Alpo can dog food. But only the chicken kind. Have had several do it. But they told me that 90% of dogs with seziure like stuff is low blood sugar. I had a cur dog that was diabetic. Every time his sugar would get low he would go into seziures.

If the pup is eating and drinking then you can rule out parvo, I would start him on antibiotics, change his feed make sure he has good clean water and maybe even keep him in the utility room a couple days were its cool and dry.

Any updates??

I think it was ear infection I gave him 1cc penicillin every other day a week.  he seems to be good to go now
