He Has struck and stopped all my hogs these past two years ive had him. He is 5 years old. I would say he is semi rough. Catches with other dogs but wont catch anything over a 40 pounder without another dog. You drop this dog and he rolls out. I mainly cast hunt and walk hunt so that is how he is used to be hunting. I would love to show the dog anytime. Im not big on trials. He is open after a hog breaks.
