Title: WTB Cut Vest
Post by: matt_aggie04 on October 07, 2009, 12:03:37 pm
WTB a cut vest for a small male pit I have.  Would like a newer one that was maybe too small for your dog or something.  I would like it to have good leg flaps and at least single layer kevlar.  Just thought I would check to see what was out there before buying a new one.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt, I have a tejas vest with felt plates that has literally never been used.  It is black with blue straps, I think the middle hole is for a dog with a 29" chest and its 4" wide between the legs, and it does have legs flaps.   It however does NOT have any kevlar.

I paid $88 for it brand new but will make you a deal if your interested.

I will measure him when I get home and see but I think that will work.  If it aint too much of a pain in the arse send me a pic to my email or phone.

Here's the only pic I could find.  Its not the greatest picture of the vest but I can take some more of it tonight if you'd like.

It doesn't fit this dog very well but it would work pretty good for a dog that's thicker in the chest.

Looks pretty good, my little pit is not quite done growing so that would likely work out for him.  I have an old bay vest that I have been running on him but I like the way that one has a little more protection on it and looks like you could get away without using a cut collar.  How much....
