Title: Shed hunting Post by: dallas22 on January 12, 2016, 11:33:08 am I got a jagd gyp that will retrieve i was thinking i could work with her on some shed training does anybody know what i need to do to get her started and if train her does that mean she'll bump a deer more often.
Title: Re: Shed hunting Post by: Gibson on January 12, 2016, 08:55:08 pm I'm by no means a pro but I let my dog just chew on old sheds in his pen and will play fetch with them then just do some "staged hunts" with a reward when he brings me them. He now brings me any sheds he runs across in the woods. I don't think it has had any effect on him jumping deer
