Title: Pretty decent bar Post by: lettmroll on June 18, 2016, 09:37:14 am Well we put out the other morning on a big track that knew was to old for my gyp to take but it was already getting hot, so I just sent her in the woods the way the track went. She got a little over 1000 yard before I could tell for sure that she was trailing, so we road around close to her. We had a young dog with us out of my silent plot and he stayed right with her the whole time, cross big slough and everything, after a little while she bayed, as for as barks per minute the pup out bayed her and the other dog we had. They done a real good job on him he tried to break and run about three different times but they would set him down. Anyway we had plenty of meat already so we caught and tied the dogs and let him go.

I can see killing a hog if the property owner wants them dead but I can appreciate the fact of turning them back loose if you don't need the meat. Nice job.
