Title: Ranger Front Rack
Post by: redcur on October 12, 2009, 09:44:42 pm
I have been looking for a rack for the front of my ranger and just couldn't find what I was looking for so I
grabbed the welder and chopsaw and built my own. I think this one is a little stronger than most you would find on the net. ;D

The only thing left is to cut out a rubber mat to keep anything from hanging up in the expanding metal even though the holes are really small.

This one weights around 80# but I built it to be solid. The tubeing I used is thick so if we used a thinner type I could shave alot of weight off. And sure It can be hinged. It is 6 inches deep.

Looks good.  Looks like you even went all out and powder-coated it. ;)

Very nice!!! i built one similar, but i couldnt bend the corners like that so mine is square. That will be the best thing you ever did to that ranger! I use mine all the time!
