It's a lot different than hunting the woods. A lot of dogs used to hunting the woods won't cast well into grain... I like to hunt the edges of the fields at daylight and let the dogs trail the hogs to their bedroom.

This is a good game plan. Been having some decent luck these past two weeks with this same strategy. Using just one dog just before daylight. Only problem is if the corn has water in it. They will lay up right there and never leave.

Nothing to tie dogs off to once the pig is caught, rubs the hide off the dogs face sometimes, and pigs will just live in the middle of the field if they are comfortable there so you can't pick up any trails going in, best to have a good wind dog, gets real hot real fast

Corn is some nasty hunting. Especially at night. You can get in a bind fast and dogs can too. I would rather catch em in the woods any day than corn but I have caught a lot in corn.

Well my dogs hunted very hard this weekend in this corn ran hogs in circles all weekend never could get any stopped or to come out of the corn they are definitely living in the corn they have plenty of water in there so I'm going to wait till they cut it and try again
