Title: Know it all"'s 02 Post by: Reuben on October 04, 2016, 09:33:31 pm I reckon I am guilty of falling in this catagory...however...l must say that anyone that's been in this game a few years should fall in this catagory as well...you youngsters or newbies should be learning some in the woods and mostly on forums like this...knowledge is at your fingertips if you are truly interested in being a good dog man and hog hunter...
Learning to breed better dogs required me to read books and articles in magazines...all that can now be found right here and it is free... Before the Internet it was slow learning...it took my brother and I 3 or 4 years to learn a single large track almost always belonged to a big boar...we thought it was really something on account we never heard it mentioned...it took us a little while to know a big boar usually won't squeal when caught...it took us years to find cow, horse and sheep wormers worked well on dogs for a lot less money...but all this is at your fingertips right here and now on this forum...it used to be the school of hard knocks...
