Title: Little hill country boar w/ video
Post by: Justified on December 19, 2016, 08:05:44 pm
Headed to hill country for the freeze. Only took three dogs. Max, my whetto pup, and my young bulldog Winston. We get there and drop at the first tank. Max rolls out 800 hunting, I'm listening for his bark when I hear whetto hammering, but he's only 150yds away. We walk in to find him bayed at the feeder, and Max is still nowhere to be seen. Turn the bulldog loose and pig breaks. I started to worry as whetto just turned one and hasn't had to stop a running pig on his own, not to mention bulldog is now in the race. Well 200ys later, whetto bays solid! We start running thinking bulldog will be there.  However when we get there it's whetto baying by himself. I look down to see Max and Winston are 150 and closing. Wait a few seconds, bam caught hog. Proud of the young dogs. Bulldog drug a small tree caught in the vest to the bay lol. I will be looking to add a second bulldog....

First video shows the break, second one you hear the catch get there, and third is a caught hog.
