Title: Keeping tabs on places you hunt?
Post by: Circle C on October 19, 2009, 12:33:31 pm
A couple of years ago I started to keep tabs on the different places that I have hunted. I use Google maps and put a placemark on each ranch.  I updated the map last week, and was surprised to see that I have hunted 56 different ranches in Texas. While I was looking over some of the placemarks in Google Earth, I ran across a pretty neat find. It's a persons last name, "written" with trees on the ranch. Each letter is over 1/2 mile tall :o  The name is 2.5 miles long too.  For the record, I have not hunted that particular place, just some properties to the south and east of it...I saw it while looking at those places...

Here is a screen shot of the place.

  Too late.
