Title: Yamaha Viking Post by: joshg223 on April 25, 2017, 01:50:25 pm Does anybody have any experience with them? How they perform and hold hold up. I'm looking for a buggy and have it narrowed between the Honda, Kawasaki, and yahama.

Title: Re: Yamaha Viking Post by: justincorbell on April 27, 2017, 12:00:21 pm I bought 1 brand new in march of 2016, it has been the best machine ive ever owned. Over 2300 trouble free miles so far.....and these are 90% southeast Texas deer lease miles. My only complaint so far has been the doors, it was/is a piss poor design....latches are low and on the outside where they stay covered in mud until you get tired of em and rip em off

I have a can am 1000 but want something the kids and wife can ride. The canam is a beast, kinda hard stepping down if to under powered.
Title: Re: Post by: justincorbell on April 28, 2017, 12:48:02 am Im running 30x10x14 outback maxxs on mine with a 100% stock setup up clutch wise w/ no problems....it wont sling mud to the heavens like some of the big bore bikes but it has plenty of power to get where you wanna go. I have zero complaints power wise.

But i think the ranger is a bit smoother, of course ive never driven a ranger on 30" mud tires. I looked at all brands and decide on this one in the end. So far i have zero complaints, im more than happy with it. If you are close to beaumont message me and id be happy to let you come drive it.

Title: Re: Yamaha Viking Post by: bolo on May 01, 2017, 11:45:15 am I have a Polaris 570 & bought it because it narrower than most utvs. got 2300 miles on it hog hunting & have had no trouble so far.
Title: Re: Post by: justincorbell on May 01, 2017, 03:48:46 pm I couldnt give a good comparison to be honest, ive driven a cpl 570s but they were bone stock....id be comparing apples to oranges.
