Title: Question on Plott gyp coming in cycle.. Post by: HIGHWATER KENNELS on September 15, 2017, 12:14:51 pm I got a question for yall... I got a plott gyp that is 14 months old and has not had a cycle yet. Her littermate sister has just not come in last week but as for her,,no sign of swellin at all. Is this the norm for hounds since I have raised cur dogs all my life..
Next question is,,,, Has anyone ever had to use the shot to make a gyp cycle and come in to be bred. And if so,,, is there any after effects for doin it... thanks Title: Re: Question on Plott gyp coming in cycle.. Post by: Reuben on September 19, 2017, 07:30:40 pm Normally the heat cycle is triggered by length of day...also when one female comes in the others are no more than 7 -14 days behind...
