Title: FINALLY got him!! Post by: doubleb on October 21, 2009, 11:45:11 am Finally got him. Ive been chasing this hog for the past 6 months i have got on him bout 4 different times and he has cost me bout two different catchdogs and messed up numerous dogs.. He had to be one of the smartest hogs ive ever caught, everytime we would get close to the bay he would throw all dogs off and run. But he finally messed up and we got him a few nights ago.He put up a hell of a fight, its a long story but he broke numerous times and messed up both of my catchdogs pretty bad and they couldnt get him and my bay dogs had him bayed solid and had nothing to catch him with and no gun. Had to call and wake the woman up at the house to bring me a gun which is bout 20 min from the place i was hunting. By the time she got there and i was able to take him down, my two strike dogs had him bayed solid for every bit of an hour n half. But im just glad i got him out of there. Wish i had better pics cuz he was a hell of a hog but we were in the thickest stuff ever and couldnt get him out so only got the head.

I have taken numerous buddies out there to that place with different catchdogs and he has thrown them off everytime and damaged quite a few dogs in the past six months. IM just releived hes out of there..
