EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

This morning we went to a new 1,080 acre. piece of property that I got permission to hunt on. I took an old friend of mine and his brother in law as well as DaisyDog and Raider54 (AKA Puss) LOL  ;D. The dogs we took were Daisy, Zig, Tray, Redman, Max CD, Duramax, Powerstroke and Salty. Man I tell you what we caught a big ol Sow. We wanted to show these two old timers a good time. We worked around the tree lines and the dogs struck a pack of hogs.Daisydog got in and legged this sow and I went in and started sticking it and the cur dogs had another hog caught right back behind us, it broke and ran right straight through the middle of all of us, the dogs were hot on its trail. They bayed several times, but never long enough for us to get there. While all of this was going on Salty had a 65 pounder bayed and caught. Some of the terrain was so thick of brires that the dogs had trouble keeping up. The CD Max got tangled up in a piece of field fence and wrapped up in brires, but all the dogs worked very well all day, it was a good hunt.

Normally I wouldnt say anything offensive about one of my friends but in light of this recent name calling (PUSS) I will answer your question! Yes! Max  was the only bulldog on this big hog!  "Mason"  (aka) Mr. Needs a GOOD CD! turned his bulldog loose, I gave him plenty of time to get there and turned the two 8mth brothers loose. After assisting the two older guys over the fence I got to the bay and what I saw next was nothing short of desturbing! Phillip had this big sow legged up  and Max (8mths old) was locked up on this monster's snout, Zelda (11mths old) locked on an ear and Zig was on the other ear, Now here is the part thats hard for me to talk about. If you go back and read masons first post you will see he said he "Began Sticking" but he didnt finish sticking because I had to wrestle him down and take the knife from him, he was wildly slashing and stabbing and I will tell you he had hit this hog every where but in the body. Seeing that we had two puppies on this big hog I figured I better help PHillip (Daisydog) dispatch the beast. Once Phillip and I had nuteralized the situation we saw Mason under a cedar tree near by. He was in the Fetal Position rocking back and forth chanting "Where is my Bulldog, Where is my Bulldog" One of the older gentelmen told mason that he was fine, he said when you turned him loose he ran and jumped in the back of my jeep, he appeared to be cold! Phillip said NO, he wasnt cold, he was scared! Mason was really shook up so we took him to the ER, they gave him some type of anti-anxiety medication. Phillip told me he went to check on him this morning and believes he will be fine. Mason I hope you are OK and wish you a speedy recovery. Dont worry about what happened yesterday          I have two pups that are comming on very well despite the fact that your dog abandoned them yesterday.

ETHH, what do you thing about this? Phillip usually rides (8itc11) on the back of my awesome and very manly Polaris 700 4X4, last weekend Mason took him on a weekend bowhunting trip down near Austin, last week Phillip took 3 days off work to go hog huntin with Mason, well when we got out there yesterday to go huntin, Phillip climbs on behind Mason on his Suzuki 80cc. :o :o :o

we were doing pretty good lately, no one has broke down in quite a while then this happens to Mason. I got to be honest with you I blame that big Bulldog of his for this! If that dog would have went to the bay, who knows? Mason may not have broke down like that.

We didnt have to change any of the old mens depends but Raider54s. This is how it all happened...when I sent my bulldog in he got caught up in the field fence and BIG brires around his back end where he couldnt go anywhere. And no, he did not make it to the bay, but I had Redman aka Comet on the ground that was on one ear all by himself. So if you listen to Raider54's story I guess the hog had three ears since Duramax and Zelda were each on an ear as well. We had to change Raider54's depends once he came to the bay and saw me sticking this hog in the heart. The reason why I was up underneath the cedar tree was because I was gagging from the stinch. The reason I had to go to the ER was because I had to get a shot for some kinda salmonella or something like that since there was fecies all over the place. The doc said that I would be alright just not to be changin any depends anymore. Sorry Raider54 your on your own next time.

your account of the events that unfolded Im afraid have been clowded by the trauma induced by a reluctent catch dog. There was no Red man! and you are starting to sound like Obama "8mth old pup on snout, 11mth old on ear, Zig on other ear! Snout is not a name commonly used for third ear. I would venture to say most of the participaters here on ETHD are gun owners! therefore putting them in the category of Right Wing Republicans. Count the dogs, Count the ears, dont distort the facts! I love ya man  and Im on your side. Because you are my friend I will buy you a new catch dog if you will just please give yours to someone who will never again expose him to BRIARS.  ??? dont knock my dogs just cuz they are smart enough to know that grass fed cows just got more meat and are plain better eatting than them rank boars yall keep finding. Hell the last cow I caught weighed in at over 1,500 pounds!! that beats your sow by like 1200 pounds.

heres the real story. mason did release the cd and i went in running behind it. upon arriving at the bay i noticed i was all alone, no cd no friends  no help just a couple of good bay dogs holding there ground . i decided to give this beast a try ,and the fight was on. after a short struggle i was able to dispatch the animal,only to look up and see mason and paul skipping through the feild and playing shirtless hopscotch with each other. to my amazement other 2 old timers (besides paul) started to join in. i got physicly ill at the sight of this and began to throw up.i can only guess that one of them heard the sounds of my sickness,and it triggered something inside them because the next thing i know they are playing docter with each other. i then passed out.a few minutes later i awoke thinking it all was a dream, but i had awakened to the reality that i was hunting with somestrange lonely,mixed up fellers because there was paul mason and the other 2 (old timers) all trying to fit on the 80cc  and mason smoking a cig, while paul ran his fingers through the smaller old mans hair.disturbing to say the least. they were right about one thing. the medication, iwill be taking and the couseling i will have to under go to try to rid myself of these  memories  may take a lifetime.

Mason, why didnt you post a pic of my pups standing on that hog? One of those pups was the one that caught it! Dont be hateing on my dogs just because they made it through the briars :P

That funny stuff, them 2 fellas on that 80 reminds me of those 2 guys on dumb and dumber riding that moped down the highway. ;D ;D ;D
