Title: 10/24 AM Boar ***Video Added*** Post by: Texas_Cur on October 25, 2009, 08:07:15 pm I took Aaron and Courtney out to a patch of woods(rosehedge) that we haven't hit in the last month or so. Turned out a little after sunrise, and hadn't walked 10 minutes before we came up on big patch of rooting. Before I could get my camera out to take a picture of the rooting the dogs sounded off about 800 yards out. We were able to walk within about 50 yards from the bay, and sent McLovin in to seal the deal. Ended up being a decent sized boar with both cutters broken off about an inch from the gums. Courtney got some awesome video, she will have to post it up.

Upon inspecting Sam's new kevlar bib, I counted 6-7 legit pokes/cuts from that boar. Several of the cuts made it thru the biothane plating but the kevlar stopped it. One poke between the plating cut thru one layer of kevlar but was stopped by the second layer. He sustained some superfial cuts in the none protected areas but the new bib worked great!
