Title: Weight/Meat percentage... Post by: Mike on August 09, 2018, 06:42:45 pm What’s the average of live weight to boneless meat on a hog? For example... if you get 90 lbs of boneless meat, what would the live weight be? I was thinking 30% for some reason.

Post by: jdt on August 09, 2018, 10:49:59 pm mike , on a top hog or beef it'll run right at 50% , if it is sure enough finished . same with a wild hog , if he is topped out . now if he's waying 200 standing on a 300 # frame he won't yeald as much .
