Title: Garmin price jump
Post by: Slim9797 on February 25, 2020, 09:45:20 am
Anybody else seen that picture of the spreadsheet looking deal, saying this Friday or so Garmin going up on all their repair prices. $150 flipping dollars to fix a TT-15. I got 4 need sent in. I believe I'm fixing to send em in, get em back and sell the junk. Too many other companies making comparable systems that I have heard alot of great things about as far as durability, also heard dogtra I believe has a 2 year factory warranty. I'll see if I can find the post on Facebook.
What's y'all's thought on this? Personally I think it's getting a little outrageous. The alpha is really nice to have, but I ain't been able to keep the dang stuff working the last 2 years. And my collars take very little abuse as we don't catch many Hogs

It's strange to see that slim, my collars take a lot of abuse as we do catch most of what we bay and I've had very little issue out of them. I have 5 15s and 1 t5 and I've had good luck with em.

I'm definitely disappointed in them. I have 4 laying the floor now that need fixing and then an alfa just went down too. As I stated before, i can't prove it, but your gonna play hell convincing me that it didn't shock the hell out of my dog that was wearing it when it malfunctioned. You cant be expensive and fragile and hazardous. Its definitely been on my mi d to explore other options.
