Title: Argo, Muddox. Muddtraxx? Post by: Austesus on March 19, 2020, 10:12:47 pm Does anybody have one? I’m still waiting on my jet ski and want a boat bad but like the tracked vehicles too. Especially if I could get one that handled like a skid steerer.... 4 people, a cargo bed, and a winch sounds like a real sweet setup

Slim, lol if I could run it in the swamp without tearing it up I would. I had already tried to look in to building a deck for it and setting it up for shallow water but there’s no options out there that will let one run in shallow water that’s muddy with vegetation. I’ve been looking at the boats hard because I’ve started hunting the river a lot and most land I hunt doesn’t have roads through them or it’s a situation where you have to immediately cross water so a vehicle is no good. I went out to my deer hunting property this week to look at getting a beaver out of the duck ponds for the old man that owns it. He’s a family friend and I am the only person with access to the land. I haven’t been out there in several years since I rarely deer hunt these days. Well the property is slap ate up with hogs now for the first time. He’s always been weird and about dogs but I showed him where the hogs have torn up part of his access road so he gave permission to run the property. It was logged in 2014 and has some nasty briar beds now, so I asked if I could bring a dozer in there and cut some new roads through the property and he gave me the go ahead. There’s a big creek that splits the property that i plan to build a bridge over so that both halves are connected by driving instead of having to leave and go down the road to come in the other entrance. I’m wanting to cut a few roads that make blocks because some areas are so thick that it would take a while getting to the dogs unless I could drive in fairly close. Post by: justincorbell on March 21, 2020, 08:43:13 pm I'd say that because the can am will be better overall, built right you can go all over the place in a buggy. The tracked vehicle won't be as user friendly outside of that one environment.

Other than hunting it’d be nice to take the old lady noodling and fishing. Look up Hagen grubs flatbottom on YouTube he cut out the center seat out of a flat bottom and added a floor. Kind of the route I’m wanting to go with a 15 foot 15 hp. I’m not sure how it would do with 5 dogs and a guy or two. Never had any experience with an Argo but I’ve seen them float and run good on water but they’re ran by chains and sprockets. You can pick up a broken one cheap I believe

I had a guy offer me a crazy trade 2yrs back. I had a highrack seat I was selling and he offered to trade me it for a set of tracks straight up. After talking to him he said that the tracks were great but terrible. Beat your guts out on a rock road and you weren't supposed to run over 20mph.....thats all I needed to hear, comfort to me is way more important than speed but i still need more than 20mph lolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk Title: Re: Argo, Muddox.
