That is a scary thought, no matter how good you are or how well you know something one slip up can be costly.  I sure pray they find him safe and sound.

That sucks I hope he is safe. The politically correct call him "Cattle herder", thats something when you can't call a man "cowboy".

When a man doesn't come in, it usually never turns out good. We have one or two men killed in the pasture out here every year, it is suprising that it is not more. Danger is everywhere in that line of work.

  His name is Gene Roberts. Yes his horse showed back up with out him.

I got it to pull up, I do not know him. Horse found in the water, not a good sighn. I have been in a few wreaks in the water and it scared the heck out of me, hope they find him.

 We didnt know him very well, but we have been out working cattle with him before. We are praying for his safe return and for his family.

I did not know this man but I sure hope he's ok..  I will be headed out in the morning to go get cattle out of back warter..It  is not a fun chore but someone has to do it... This guy and his family will be in our prayers...  I will be pulling out some of the older most expeirenced  horses for these jobs...

news says they found the missing cowboy, he was found not far from where the horse was found. they estimated the water was 15 feet deep.   may everyone keep his family in there prayers.  and may god give him many good horses to ride.

It's always a danger somewhere when you climb up on a horse and go to work cattle, you just hope it's never you or loved ones.

My uncle broke his pelvic just 2 days ago,,It could happen to any of us,,,
