Title: We set the Barr 3/13/21 Post by: Cajun on March 13, 2021, 05:42:49 pm Made a hunt with Larry Smith, Mike the knife and a couple guys from the club We turned out about 6:45 and in 5 minutes Showtime and Rose was bayed. Took us about 20 minutes to get in there and seal the deal. Good Barr hog. Showtime rolled out as soon as we threw the hog down and as he was headed for the hwy I headed out. Get out and started to him and was almost to the hwy and he doubled back. I was able to pack Hank, Jack and Blue into the race and they were headed right back to the first hog They bayed him 50 yards from the first catch and those boys were ready. They turned the bulldog s loose from where they were at and caught hog. Another fine Barr. Showtime rolled out again with Hank and this time they really headed for the Hwy. I got around just in time to catch them. The big Barr weighed 295# gutted and the smaller Barr weighed 225# Gutted. Both hogs were caught by 8:00 am. He is off Hillbilly x Amber. His Grandsire was Showboat. I have been pretty happy with him and glad I didnt waste a good name. lol
