Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 07, 2021, 05:05:01 pm This is my old dog. He was a tank.
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/american_bulldog/dog.html?id=1581908-semmes--grits-of-basins?_v=20081231151753 (http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/american_bulldog/dog.html?id=1581908-semmes--grits-of-basins?_v=20081231151753) That dog predates him by a ways. I know I seen that pic a bunch times though just can’t recall the name... Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 07, 2021, 05:24:36 pm I wanna say it was a hybrid out of rip’n woody stock but can’t remember
Title: Re: Beast Post by: l.h.cracker on November 07, 2021, 07:44:11 pm Yes Sir that's a fine looking Bulldog, Yours as well Semmes...
Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 03:08:29 pm like semmes says, its right on the tip of my tongue. im thinkin maybe east coast or even europe. i know it will come to me. now im starting to think it was one of monique lapierres dogs
Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 03:58:44 pm lol gary...cajun keeping us guessing. Dirty, dirty trick.
Could been from Europe but not the feeling I’m getn. I know it wasn’t one of mo’s dogs out of diesel. Got to be a hybrid dog. Maybe something out of chris’ stuff in sc? Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 04:06:15 pm If it’s from Europe it got be from Germany. Ain’t a white bandits dog cause I had one of them.
Maybe that other lady over there that bred hybrid, can’t remember her name, maybe phoebe or something? Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 04:26:35 pm If it’s a more modern dog from east coast I think got be out of Chris tnt stuff or Maggie gunslinger stuff. I don’t think that’s what it is though
Could be out of Jim a Terry’s Apache stuff but I don’t think so. I’m getn west coast older school feel. Bet got woody in it either through Boyd’s or baneulos or something Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 05:42:51 pm Remembered it was Denise from Germany and her kennel was proud hero’s but did t see that dog on her site.
Then thought maybe marcel from NorCal but dig wasn’t on his site either...lol Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 06:04:52 pm I’m not a Beting man... mostly cause I got no money to lose.
But if I were I’d bet that dog cajun posted came off of this breeding Or the woody/ slashin sheena breeding Somewhere down it’s lineage if not more than once. https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/american_bulldog/dog.html?id=1676542-banuelos-predator?_v=20080403180643 (https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/american_bulldog/dog.html?id=1676542-banuelos-predator?_v=20080403180643) That’s part of the mystic of the ab that used to be so addictive. All the lines got a look and certain traits that differentiate they from one another so distinctly that folks would just go crazy following certain crosses and such Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 06:05:06 pm lol obbie, i been lookin all over too. i was thinkin maybe white bandits, or geesa maybe. i think ive seen that pic on a facebook group this year. aghhhh, its makin me nuts, lol. i think if i would have known that dog out here i would remember but not always.
Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 06:07:36 pm i was even lookin to see if it was something down from turbo.
Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 06:18:38 pm I thought turbo too lol...
Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 06:28:01 pm i found it with a little help from a ab facebook group. produced by proud heroes from proud heroes fang, had caseys stuff, some tibbits etc and the bottom half is alans stuff. i dont know how to post the ped here or i would. so this awesome lookin ab came from europe, lol.

Woody was in the sires ped 4 times in 5 gens. Lol Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 07:59:21 pm hey , my head was gonna explode as i knew i had seen it recently. and yes dave pope sent some dogs to chris that did well. the screaming eagle stuff dave used seemed to blend real well the boyd stuff dave had. dave brought the elvis dog down and hunted with us several nights and i felt his polar pig female caught better than elvis. but that was here and just what i saw. the frosty female dave produced looked like a well muscled male and was a beast on man also.
Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 08:14:56 pm I can say Denise from proud hero’s always was nice and used to pm me on truegrit a congrats if we win some at some show.
I remember when she got that dog from Alan, the same of the dog pictured, I admired the dog a lot. Alan was always warm and welcoming with me and my family and I saw him numerous times a years and he judged all the dogs I owned at one time or another. I saw frosty and Elvis..both great looking dogs. I remember at a show they went in back and tried Elvis... I think it was on some bite work. Elvis just sat there looking like wth is this all about... he was older then. He just ignored the whole affair then strolled off and took a dump and kicked his legs as if to say I’m done with these shenanigans. Cool as a cucumber Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 08:16:02 pm Edit ‘dam of the dog pictured’

And he did what he alway did. Just civil, no prey, all defense.
The sport guys didn’t like him and I was also disappointed each time I tried with em But the pp guys I trained with liked the civil nature and would say he bite for real. I just wanted him to understand the game but he never did Title: Re: Beast Post by: Semmes on November 10, 2021, 08:48:54 pm Takes a special dog to play bite games with a human when they allowed to put pressure on the dog but the dog expected to keep it together and play the game. Kudos to those dogs
Title: Re: Beast Post by: gary fuller on November 10, 2021, 10:09:20 pm semmes, i sent you a private message and an email
