Mayb mine is more than 35. That's just a guess. I know it's not higher than 50 cus it's easy easy to draw. And It passes all the way through 5-10 pound carp as far as the string will reach.
I'd say 40lbs. Mine usually always passes all the way thru as well

Nice. I'm just getting into bowfishing and that's all we shoot is gar for the most part. We have some huge ones here. I'm trying to find a place to shoot carp at.

where u located?
I'm near ft hood and we have a lake that holds a LOT of carp and a good bit of gar. its called still house hollow lake. another lake near me is lake belton, but not sure if there are gar or carp, but I'm sure there are, just never looked for them or inquired if there were any.

is a 60-70lb draw wt. a lil much for bow fishing? if so, iv got a bear kids/female bow that i think goes up to like 30lbs. but the draw length is way to short for me to hunt with, but i can shoot it
I live in Southeast Texas near Beaumont. I think a few Lakes around here have some buffalo carp but I've never seen them. The ideal draw weight you want is 40-50 lbs. In my opinion 30lbs is a bit too weak unless your shooting out of a boat up close. I've got a 70lb compound and I just lowered it to 50lbs. I use a 50lb recurve now. Your really not shooting that far so you don't need a heavy draw weight you would get worn out pulling 60-70lbs.

Yes they have mounts that go underneath. Seems like crossbow would be hard to use though

It's a blast to do. I picked up a decent bow at a pawn shop for 50 bucks and mounted an AMS reel on it. After that your good to go. Will work with any bow

A rating would do no good because this is a forum not eBay and you can simply create another account.

Well he said he'd take 26k but I'm not gonna do it. I couldn't stand how big the tires were and the sound they made while driving it.

10  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Need advice on truck on: March 21, 2014, 08:51:17 am
Do yall think this is a good price for this truck? It's completely loaded out, leather seats etc. Here is the link
http://www.southeasttexas.com/autos/detail.cfm?id=2077418

The is the first expensive thing I've ever looked into getting. I don't want an outrageous note. I Kelly blue booked this and in excellent condition it was worth 27k. Thanks in advance

Always watch the white ones. I had two out of my litter that were real white with pink noses and pink around their eyes. Both were deaf but not blind.

Once Dustin, Logan, and Stephen got the hog stuck and killed we started grabbing dogs and trying to get to the road with them I called Jeremy to come help us and him and his wife dropped there Valentine's day date and came and help try to save them.  It really helps to know you have friends that will come help when you need them.

I sure hate that for ya'll. I work with jeremy at JV, he is good people.
I need to come out to JV with yall...

Next year you will wonder how you got by without a Garmin after all these years.  In the meantime you get mad about tracking a dog 700 yds and losing another at 400 yds.  But, as mad as you'll get, nobody will be able to take it out of your hands and you wont go to the woods without it.

Well we have a 90% chance of snow here tonight and into the morning and it's sleeting pretty good right now! I must say I'm looking forward to a little snow. Doesn't happen much around these parts! Parts of Louisiana have gotta quite a bit so far. Post up some pics if you've gotten some!
