Long distance ? Count me out. What a ranger is for. But sprinting is more my game. Never been much of a distance runner. Judge peel I am sure you have some mighty fine young men. I say enough of this topic I have seen all I want to see. Let's get in the woods and stack some bacon.

Ferris it was just a question. And yes I asked Bennett about it and he posted not aware I already posted. And for the replies on the thread, guess it just goes to show different classes of people and intelligiance. And a foot race would be nice. Been awhile since I ran a track meet. But I will say my brother is pretty darn fast. But guess last time he has ran in a meet was when he ran In college. Good luck. And I would Of Not expected any other reply from you after reading some of your other comments on some threads. Again this all has to do with class. Good luck in the woods men. If that is what I am talking to. Sometimes I wonder. Was just wanting to know the reason on the issue not criticism on how I hunt. Thank you.

Yes sir. Thank you. I am still wet behind the ears at this. So I might ask some dumb questions. But better to ask and get criticized then not ask at all. God Bless.

To answer some questions as I stated in the original post I am new to the sport. I personally have only been hunting with dogs for about year and a half. But I have been hunting with some seasoned doggers for a little bit. And yes I was behind my catch dog. I am in pretty good shape and running is no problem for me unlike some other hunters. So 120 yds no problem for me to run. Was right behind the bull dog due to why he had to run through. Was behind him about ten seconds. So let the criticism continue. But as I said new to the game but have caught plenty by my self. I have had some great mentors. But for the future try helping new hunters instead of down grading. It will make the sport continue for years. Again never said I was better or experienced. Thanks guys. God Bless!

The ears for sure looked like they where cut off. Slick right at the head. Land owner was with us and was pretty pissed. Said there are a few guys who dog around there and have a real bad rep. He said he bet they trespassed on him. Said if he ever catches them won't be good. But yes I have some real ruff dogs. I have one real loose baying dog. She is my best but she got cut as well. So it was kinda weird seeing her cut up. They are doing great though. Thank you

So I have a question. I am new to this sport so just curious. Why would anyone bar a hog and cut both ears off? I almost lost my two best dogs due to this incident. Went to a new place and struck a hog. Went 680 yards and start running in and hear a loud yelp. Cut bull dogs loose around 120 yards and then hell breaks loose. The two bull dogs caught him run to bay and notice a few dogs missing that are usually there. Here landowner yell this black dog is not going to make it. Get pig hobbled and look around and my two best dogs are cut pretty bad. Look at the boar and notice no ears and barred. He only weighed 205 but had some nice cutters. Ended up saving both dogs. But my question is why do people do this?

Please go to candmwildhogadventure Facebook and bid on the 6 week old male tater pup. All money goes to a girl who lives here in Wise county who has cancer. This will help her family pay for some of the bills. Let's show them that hog doggers are kind at heart. Thank you.

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Caught 3 in wise county

Went to a new place in wise county last night with me ,my brother, and the rancher. We pull into the ranch drop the trailer and take off past his cows and drop dogs. The rancher tells me he has some oats planted in a field about .25 mile in front of us and as soon as he gets that out of his mouth I hear my dogs baying solid. Look at the garmin and my June and striker are bayed. Kill the truck and hear the pigs going crazy in that field. They had a ralley going. By that time stew and dutches are right there as well. So grab the bulldogs and cut them loose. Run to bay and my bulldog pup has a 150 lb boar caught all by himself and my dogo Lexi had a 175 lb sow caught. So two pigs in ten minutes. Get them hobbled and grab dogs and start moving pigs. Did not see June so check the garmin and she rolled out to 900 and bayed solid. Grabbed Lexi and take off to her and get 54 yards away cut her loose and caught another one. This was a little choate. So about 25 minutes and we caught these three pigs. Landowner was very please and told me he is talking to his neighbors to get me on there and get them pigs out.

My wife is the same way. Never complains when I go hunting. If something happens to them she is the first there to help take care of them. She even takes care of them when I go out of town. Never a complaint. Great wife.

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Big Boar with the family

Loaded up dogs and went to a spot right down the road from the house. I have promised the boys i would take them for a few weeks now. Had me my boys, my dad, and brothers. We pull up to our spot to drop a trailer and we let the dogs out my Striker dog and June burn the woods up soon as they hit the ground. Three minutes later they strike this big boar. By this time my stew dog and my brothers pup (Gus) get there and they catch this big feller. No need for catch dogs. I run in there and he was giving them fits I leg him and game over for him. Had a blast with the family. This is me and my boys chilling with Stew
