I havea red cur gyp about 3 yrs old that has found over 10 hogs on her own and been on another 20 with other dogs. WILL STOP A RUNNER!!! I have seen her latch on to tails and nuts to get one stopped. she will catch with other dogs. I've got a 3 yr old black an tan female that finds her own pigs...i hunt all curs and they can't keep up with her...she's hunts 300 to 400 in no sign but will take a track for a long ways...she can get mouthy on track but not to bad. Ive got a 2 yr old female bluetick black and tan strike dog. She's long range and has a lot of bottom. Been on a bunch of hogs. A little open on track but not too bad.
