A dogs saliva will turn the hair and skin brown like that if they constantly lick at it. I have a female that does it. She's the same color as the dog in the pic and when I saw that it looks just like what my dogs does.

Does it ever go away? Or does it bother her any? It doesn't bother my gyp any but I felt I had better get a hold of it before it got outta hand

By chance are you injecting imevtrcin there

Judge no sir I'm not injecting it. She gets its orally and its diluted before she gets it the same as all my other dogs

Thanks for the help. I sprayed some wound spray on it but I guess it wasn't the right kind or something of the sort. I'll wash her up and then maybe try to see if it's something in the feed

Any ideas on what it could be? Popped up a couple weeks ago and I thought it would go away but hadn't yet. I worm her every two weeks with Valbazen and Ivermectin every now and again.

Yes sir well I sure do appreciate the help. I had tried to look it up but came up empty handed and for some reason the only thing that came up was how tail docking got started

I was curious if anybody knew anything about it as far as how it originally got started? Someone told me people would do it for the pit but I had heard somewhere else that it had another purpose that I can't recall

Thanks for the help. I've got a cross I've been wanting to make for a while and got a strange feeling I had better get it done while I still could before something happens to either of them

Has anybody ever tried to breed a gyp and the dogs never got hung up but she still caught? I asked a few of the older guys around here and some have said it can happen while others don't think so

Refurbished Gamrin DC-40, got it on a trade deal for a dog and I don't have a use for it because I don't have a Garmin anymore. Works fine just don't have a use for it at the moment. Asking $150. (936)668-0648, SteveQ19@gmail.com

I know a guy here in AR that uses bullies. I do not know the line but his do a fine job. Fine enough one of them is pictured on swamp dawg gear. That dog was a heck of a cd. Calm cool collected then all Buisiness when sent.

As far as in general I would say careful selection would give a man what he is looking for. But as a general rule I would go more toward the APBT side.

I believe the guy you're talking about is the guy at RR hogdogs and that's really what made me start thinking about it. I've seen plenty of videos of his dog Pete and it seems from the ones I've seen he took his time and didn't miss

I had seen a guy using em and I was trying to get some more input before I started experimenting

I got a gyp that's about a year and a half. She's UKC and has Rock River Sackett JR, Skuna River Fred, and Backwater Bone Collector on her papers. Well started on coons but I'm sure she would have no problems switching over to hogs. Asking $400 but open to trades, any questions or pictures of her or paperwork call or text (936)668-0648.
