1  THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / Finished female catch dogs? on: May 08, 2015, 10:30:01 pm
We usually hunt with a pit. We are open to other options though. We hunt out of piedmont, ok. Willing to meet for the right dog. Will want to see it catch. Try to have a picture for me if you contact me.

Where do you get your dogs streak? We hunt with pits mostly, have had a few with MOST of the qualities these gentleman have mentioned. Have one now we couldn't be prouder of. Too bad the pound cut him before we got him. Such is life. But I wouldn't mind hearing about your dogs streak!!

Dang great posts! I read your posts in a fairly stereotypical Australian accent. It made your comment about that Buster dog sound pretty Bad A$$. Properly Hard.  That's some beautiful country you're in man! Love to see more!
6  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Horse or Mule? Difference? on: July 23, 2014, 12:14:03 am
We've been talking a lot about mules! Are there different breeds of donkey? I've seen some pretty tall before. Or are they all just the same?

14  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Photo updates on my Stag x Catahoula Puppy on: February 12, 2014, 07:27:42 pm
Looks good so far pretty interest in this cross.

Can you tell me the hunting style of the dogs used in this cross.

Did the Stag have a good nose, straight catch or just rough on hogs, ect....

17  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: Doing it Plott style- with open mouth hounds on: February 03, 2014, 08:18:46 am

18  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Re: Dogo crosses? on: February 03, 2014, 06:50:12 am
I've been emailing mr mason a bit, he says in 16 years of crossing cats and dogos he's never had one that didn't catch. I put my name in the hat for a cross, figure if a mans been doing it that long successfully there's no sense in trying to recreate the wheel. I think if you're crossing a dogo with another BD (pit, American, or whatever) you're just breeding down. If you want a smaller cd than a dogo I'd just rescue a pit from the pound.
