I grew up in lufkin and been to the blue hole more times than I can count awesome swimming hole I live in Ore city now on lake of pines witch is another awesome place to fish swim and hunt around when I lived in lufkin we also spent a lot of time on the Neches river hunting fishing and playing east Texas is a awesome place

I hate to do it cause I don't sell dogs but I don't have time for them this season I'm going threw personal stuff and not gonna have time for them I have a 1 1/2 year old female red bone cat/cur cross she's been in bay pen a handful of time bays real good I've done several mock hunts and she goes straight to the pig and she's been on several hunts stays beasy in the woods won't be under your feet for shure she will be a long range dog I know that if a man hunted her she would make a dog I also have a 3 or 4 month old yellow black mouth cur male dark black mask don't know a lot about the parents except what guy told me about them he said mom and dad or both hog hunting fools so I exspect him to be he is a real good looking pup my name is Chris Deshotel I'm located in Ore City Texas my number is 903 -801-0437 text for pics or info again I don't wanna get rid of them so serious inquiries only just make a offer but I'm not gonna give them away

I'm in same boat I just can't figure it out now if I got one that's got a good edge on it to begin with and old man give me this ceramic rod deal that came out of a transformer and I can make couple swipes on it like chefs do with their still rods and it gets razor sharp but like I said that's if it has a good edge to begin with witch I can't seem to do myself good luck

Thanks for all the info ended up getting sum from Guillory's cause he went rite by there yea I'm from Ville Platte Louisianna I live in Ore city Texas now and u just can't get boudin like they make it in south Louisianna now just need some fresh cracklings and would be in heaven

Is their anybody that lives around laffeyette or ville platte lousianna area that can tell me where to get the best freshest boudin i have a friend traveling to that area and were getting him to pick us up some and wanna know where to send him to get the good stuff where they make it fresh any help would b appreciated u just cant get boudin in texas like they make it in south louisianna

Thanks for the incoureging words guys I'm gona stick with it and get it figured out I love working with dogs and love being in the woods it's just tuff cause I don't know of any hog hunters  around where I live I live in Ore City Texas if anybody is around that would b willing to let me and my pup tag along I also have some good spots to hunt

Man I didn't realize how hard it was to get into this sport .
I just can't seem to get my hands on a good strike dog I've bought several that we're suppose to b but guess
I shoulda known better when they were as cheap as they were guess I'm just gonna have to save up the 1500 or so and hopefully get my hands on a good one I've got some good pups and I'm doing everything that I can to train them I just need a lead dog for them to run with after deer season I'll get me a strike dog I love this sport not looking for sympathy just venting I guess but I'm gonna hang in there
