I was just gonna give y'all an update and I let him heal up and get good and healthy looking again and wen this evening and he went 800 yards struck one and carried it half a mile and kept it bayed until the other dogs got there and took us about 30 minutes to get around to them and we caught a good sow so I think it's safe to say his cuts was botherin him too bad to hunt and he's back to his old self. Thanks for all the input !!

Most everything is healed so I rolled him over to make sure I haven't missed anything and I found where the hog put a hole in his nut sack that's still healing up so maybe that had something to do with it ?? I'm not sure.. I'm gonna keep him chained up for another week and let everything heal all the way and get ready to take him next weekend if all goes well!! Wish me luck !!

I have a 6 year old lead strike dog that is long range with tons of bottom. He has found most all my hogs for me and been my lead dog for years with hundreds of hogs. Well I got him cut pretty good a couple weeks ago and decided i would put him on a automatic dog feeder to fatten up in the off time. Well I got a call today and a boy had seen a big group of hogs so I just grabbed him and a bulldog and headed to him. His cut is almost healed. Well he went right in there found em bayed for a second and come straight out with hogs runnin everywhere. My jaw dropped. NEVER has he done this and I'm telling you he is a jam up strike dog with tons of bottom. He acts like he has no energy since being cut and has bloated a little since being on automatic feeder. What is going on ?? I'm not looking for any mouthin I need help this is my best dog I have ever owned???

I have a registered plott male black with brindle trim a little over a year old I will sell for 300$. He has been about 5 times and will hammer a hog and stay gone!!
