10 acres is the smallest you can legally hunt on in Texas.  10 acres next to a Forrest no problem.     

I like the idea of the quit release pins so it can be removed.  However should you need to get under the hood when it is loaded in a hurry like a fire or whatever you could find your self in a jam. 

People have been known to toss a chunk of carpet over the hood and the dogs can stay easier with the carpet.

Just curious what hog dog would be best to track and tree a bear/cougar?  Catch or bay?

Seems the catch would attempt to catch and you could loose dogs fast to fight the dog couldn't handle.
