I am new to the coldspring area and looking for a place to hunt anyone from around the area?I used to hunt the bedias creek bottom between huntsville and madisonville alot.Great hunting, but since I moved to coldspring I dont know many people around the area and very few hunters,The ones I know hunt properties that they are not allowed to,I dont want no part of that!To much to lose plus take a chance of getting your dog shot.....Good huntin'....Shane

9  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Suggestion on building a bay pen on: March 31, 2008, 05:14:14 pm
I had a bay pen I built that was about 6ft wide and 60 ft long the pup would stay on the outside and work.A friend had one that was about 100x100 he would turn one good dog and then some pups,he did the same thing when training catch dog pups.Anyone have any suggestion on the type, size or material.I am starting from sctarch and trying to keep cost as low as possible.....Good huntin'......Shane

11  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Anyone know where is a bay pen around coldsprings area? on: March 31, 2008, 11:22:18 am
I have been hunting for many years,I only have two catch dogs left and they are old so not hunting them anymore,BUT i have a 4 month old black mouth that I need to get started. All of my old hunting buddies are like me,work to pay for the country lifestyle I want my son raised in and dont have time anymore and none have any small pigs or a bay pen like the old days.If someone knows where one is I would greatly appriciate it....Good huntin'
