I have a 1/2 cur 1/4 catahoula and 1/4 american bulldog female almost a year old. She has barked at a hog but gets distracted easily and I have not had much time to really train her. Will make a good pet or even a hog dog with some work. Hates cats with a passion just have not had time to get her to switch to hogs. Has all her shots and has been wormed. I figured I would give this a try because you all had some good information on the oil field jobs post. I graduated from Texas State University in December and have been taking classes to get my Certified Safety and Heatlh Official in Oil + Gas and Petrochemical. I completed an internship with Hilcorp Energy Company in Houston last fall with their Environmental Health and Safety department. I would like to keep pursuing the safety route, however, I am open to almost anything at this point. I do not know if anyone on here deals with safety but I am a hardworking and dependable person. I have tried many websites and applied, but most places are looking for more experienced workers. I am hoping some one can help me by referral or if you might know of some entry level jobs out there. First. Pinto is a 3 yr old american bulldog/cur mix. This dog was a rcd for Mr. Hesseltine but started finding too many hogs, so I bought him and used him as a strike dog. He will bark a couple times and catch unless its a big one or he has a pack bayed. He struck and bayed a pack of twenty or so hogs for about five minutes before another dog got there and he caught one as soon as the other dogs showed up. When you put him on the ground he will go from 200-800 yds out. Tracking collar and a vest are helpful and he can and will strike hogs or used as a catch dog. 450
Second. Mocha is a 1 yr old catahoula/ cur mix. Reall gritty dog. Have run her on ground. Does not hunt out real far but will go with another dog. Have worked her in Mr. Mason's pen several times. She weighs around 40 pounds. 250
