TRORYTAKERS he was and still happy with his this is like I said FYI the dog was off the GPS and thats almost unheard of with a regular collar like MIke said his dog got hit by a train and it still worked from feed back hopefully the info we sent garmin they will be able to correct the problem the collar is 22 days old.I am glad you haven't lost a dog they are neat but they are 2nd generation already and they will  get better as they go we hope.

I just came from looking for a dog with a GPS DC-30 collar on. The hog broke the wire in the collar the dog went off the GPS unit but we found the dog. It looks like the wire from signal unit that sends the signal to the satillite to the part that sends the signal to your hand held part.The collar was not torn apart and no wires exposed but it dead as heck. Just FYI

Thanks guys I took them hunting the day before and that day as well Langdon wants to run to the bay like Dawson but I make Langdon walk with me so he is mad and I don't trust him behind me he wants to touch the wheels while they are turning Not.Dawson is learning how to tie he is a country raised boy he has been showing cows in the open shows at the majors since he was 4 he is not scared but thats both good and bad if you know what I mean.Paris hears those dogs bayed behind us and we had pups killing baby pigs in front of us she is tuned in that was her second day in a row to go so she ready for action.This is Langdon tracking the day before.

Awsome camera work and a good hog well I think any is better than none.What kind of Canon do you have?Canon has a rewards program if you break one they will let you up grade really cheap once I found that out I went to breaking them to get the one I want. Now it has some many knobs and buttons I can only put it on auto. HA HA HA

andandMy son and my whole family and Mr. Joe went for a short round Dawson my biggest boy was born New Years day 2000 so he wanted to hunt again for the second day in a row.Got one caught another fat sow about 150lbs dogs went across the river at dark we got them back after we drove for 23 miles to drive to the other side of the brazos which I can hunt it just sucks not having a boat in the water this time.

It was not my intention to question your hunting ability or your charcter I was meerly stating and opinion for anybody. I personally turn pups loose where there are hogs at least 4 days a week.I don't put tracking collars on until they really start hunting but every now and then one will pull out and hunt when that happens when I have 10 collars in my truck I feel like a dumb _ ss. About 3 months ago I had some pups down with one older pup  they found about a 180 to 200lb boar I didnt have a catch dog I slipped in and shot the boar. All I was saying is be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Before I met Scott about 2 yrs ago the people I hunted with did not use catch dogs we shot over our dogs.We would take 1 or 2 dogs they would bay slip in and shoot dogs pull out go bay another shoot our dogs got where they would get between you and the hog.I know when I put my dogs down anything can happen there is the brazos river,roads,RR tracks,burros, heat so a carry what I wil help me for must all situitions or try to think 2 steps ahead of whats happening but some times we get caught with our pants down still. Thats why most of the time we go look before we turn our bulldogs loose first unless we hear a squeal and even then we are not far thats how I saved Gitdahawg dogs from the no eared hog we went to look first and the rest is history.Good luck

Mike once again that is true but if thats not the case in my opinion you have to be prepared to save your dog I think. If i couldn't have taken a gun to where the hog was with no ears that killed yalls dog then what would have happened. It looks like here we go again.I have shot maybe 3 hogs this year but I saved my dogs.I don't have good dogs but they are all I got I am saving them and its just a opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
