I think all the talk about range is something people come with after the garmin , if you gotta a good dog he is gonna range to where the game is as for as the long range dogs passing up hogs , that's a cull

For somebody that doe sent breed or raise his own dogs, and is a serious hunter that is a fair price in my opinion if the dog is and does what the buyer is wanting

Just bull number 2ting ya , I think the judge said it a few post ago His Best dog got a lil bottom too him , if you got one with bottom he should show good anywhere if they bay quick no big deal if they wanna run even better ,but I can guarantee you ain't gonna to wanna be on foot trying too stay with theses runners Peach Creek is talking about , ain't gonna happen

Casey they got a lot of hunt to them when I turn um loose they get gone, have found their own several times.     T- dog I sure wouldn't call um rough or even gritty, they will get rough on the ass end of one, sound like you hunt the same kind of country , I don't believe so much in to the gritty dogs stopping and holding a hog theory, i know they will and do I've seen it, but I beleive they educate a lot of good hogs and might be where all these running hogs learn either run or get ate up, I'd just rather have a dog that has the bottom and speed to stay with um , and if he does stop stand back and bay, now if it's small enough he can catch sure go ahead, but I don't want to cut a good track run him 4 hrs and he bay up and have a dog get too gritty bust him , that's just what I like

Appreciate it Bryant , Im trying to figure this computer thing out , lil behind times I guess, I've only started fooling with these running dogs last few years, I've had cur dogs over 20 yrs. have had a couple good ones I thought, kind of bred myself in a corner and everybody got their own thoughts on what they want or think a good dog should be like, mine has always been and still is hunt , and bottom and if your lucky you get some with some foot speed, I don't mind a dog a lil rough but sure don't want to lose any of the hunt and bottom to get it, these crosses seem to be doin real as far as I'm concerned , they cast hunt , showing good bottom and some don't mind pulling hair, so far I like um. I raised cur dogs for years , and will always have um , but I got those runnin gyps bred back right now , I liked the first couple crosses so well

Appreciate it, some days they look good some days they don't ,the lil red male is a cross 17mth him and his litter mates (two brothers ) are goin to make it, he's out of the red gyp up top ,the lil black pup and the blue saddle back gyp are litter mates they making 10 mths and got all the hunt and go a man would want time will tell if they have the other qualities they'll need , the lil male on the bottom is a 3/4 July 1/4 running walker him and the second gyp were started on coyotes ,the lil gyp has a lot of foot speed not much on baying, the ill pups are out of her and cur

Sounds like a good hog, that's been educated , a couple good dogs stand back out of harms way , and if he wants to run let him wear hisself out, and like was said before 2 catch dogs and be right behind um, i like to run garmin collars on my catch dogs too and has helped several times on a good one blowing out and turning in to wreck with catch dogs catching further out,  good luck with him
