3  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Re: kustom built !! dog boxes ,trailers , 4wheeler racks(frnt &back) on: August 09, 2009, 10:20:37 pm
I have a Ranch Hand Bumper and it has a hitch receiver on the front of it.  Anybody have any ideas on what to use the front receiver for?  Maybe a rack to haul stuff on?  What could you fabricate?
4  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: Pics - Hunting with dogs in the Hill Country on: August 05, 2009, 09:41:58 pm
I like the two pics of the dogs running away.  That looks good.  The second pic and the second to last one.  Nice work.
5  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Westin Bull Bar off of Chevy 2500HD Silverado on: August 03, 2009, 09:56:29 pm
I got a Ranch Hand bumper put on my truck this weekend and no longer need the Westin Bull bar that I had on it.  Thought I would put it on here to see if I could strike up a local sale.  Price is $200 or trade for???

And here is a pic of the new front end.  Very Heavy.  Gonna have to beef up the steering and maybe get a lift.

Thanks.

6  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: What do Ya'll think( Real or not) on: August 01, 2009, 08:35:33 pm
I have had this discussion with several of my friends late at night over a couple of beers.  I used to be the one that always said no way in hell.  But the more I read about it from you guys and see stuff on TV, I could possibly be convinced.  For as many unexplained things there are out there, it's possible.  As for having one as a pet, that would be awesome.
7  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: Best night hunting head light you've ever used?? on: July 27, 2009, 08:59:40 pm
I used a Nite Lite for coon hunting when I first started and it was good for a starter light.  I let people that I go hunting with use it now.  Convenient back up.  Now I use a Bandit Belt Light with a Spotlight and walking light connected as well.  Great light.  A lot of my hunting buddies back in Indiana use them as well.  I have had mine for about 4 or 5 years and still burns just as good as the first day I got it.  No complaints.  http://www.banditlights.com/belt_light.htm
8  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Snake hunting on: July 25, 2009, 09:44:58 pm
What kind of snakes do you suspect they are?  And another question,  any of you guys ever actually been bitten by a snake?  Not struck on the boots but literally bit.

10  GENERAL CATEGORY / HUNTING AND FISHING / Any Mountain Lion Hunters Here? on: July 19, 2009, 09:14:02 pm
One of my dream hunts is to go mountain lion hunting, just curious if anybody on here does it?  If you do, lets see some pics if you got any.
11  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Re: Compound bow needed! on: July 19, 2009, 09:11:06 pm
I have a Browning right handed bow with a good sight on it.  Needs a new string but you can get those for pretty cheap.  I would take $125 bucks for it or make me an offer.  I may be looking for a started dog or young dog in about a month as well if you have any. Or something else in trade  Thanks.
12  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / For Sale: Tracker Maxima 1000/5 and 2 Collars 217 Frequency on: July 06, 2009, 08:06:49 pm
Hey Guys,

I am selling my Tracker Maxima 1000/5 and 2 collars that have 217 frequencies, which is what the Tracker tracks.  Below are some pictures of the system.  Everything works well.  I had the collars rebuilt about a year and a half to two years ago, can't remember exactly when, and had I believe a 2500 Hour battery placed in both of them.  Correct me if that does not sound right, but that is what comes to mind when I had it done.  The collars have been hardly used since the new batteries were put in them.  They are sealed.  They would not have 100 hours on them yet as I was not able to get out and hunt very often while in college and my dog died 2 years ago, and I never replaced him so they were pretty much used when hunting with other friends dogs, which was not often.   Make me an offer.  I am located in San Antonio, would prefer to sell in person as I have been burned on the internet before.  I plan on going to the Bay Competition in Pearsall this coming weekend if that helps anyone out.  I am selling because I want to buy a Garmin Astro.  So I would also trade for one of those as well.  Make me an offer and feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks.

13  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Anyone Hunting over the Long weekend around San Antonio on: June 28, 2009, 04:37:01 pm
Hey guys,

I thought I was going home for the weekend back to Indiana, but my plans fell through.  I am not doing anything now and if anybody is going out this weekend to set traps, run dogs or whatever and wouldn't mind a tag along, I would definitely like to get out.  I will do driving or bring drinks or pay for fuel or whatever you want, I just gotta get out some this weekend.  Thanks.

14  GENERAL CATEGORY / HUNTING AND FISHING / looking for Hunting Lease Around San Antonio on: June 20, 2009, 09:39:49 pm
Where is the best place to look for hunting leases?  I honestly am not looking for a place where I am going to shoot a big buck.  More interested in hog hunting than anything and having the opportunity to take a deer or two.  Also looking for something that would allow me to coon hunt or run hog dogs.  If anybody has any leads on something, I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

15  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Re: Neat stuff for sale four wheelers N tracker on: June 20, 2009, 03:14:30 pm
How much for either of the four wheelers?  PM if you get a chance.  Is there a seat for the Recon?  Also, what size is the Recon and how do both 4 wheelers run?  Is the Recon 4 wheel drive?  And can you post some years on them.  Thanks.
16  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: BOW?? What is a good bow to buy under 400.00?? on: June 12, 2009, 12:25:58 pm
Where you located Smeb?  On Edit:  I just checked your profile and saw you were from San Antonio.  I am moving there this weekend.  I am from Indiana.  I have an extra Browning bow that you can have to use if you would like.  Let me know if you want it.
On Second Edit:  It does need a new string, but those are relatively inexpensive.  You are more than welcome to it.  I do not need it or use it.  I think the poundage is in the mid 70's not exactly sure.  It could be backed down if you want.
17  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Anybody Alligator Hunt? on: June 12, 2009, 12:25:11 pm
I am moving to San Antonio this weekend.  I am hoping within the next two years to do an alligator hunt.  Does anybody on here do it?  Or do you know of any guides around San Antonio that do it.  I wouldn't mind driving somewhere to do it either.  I have grown up vacationing in Florida and bass fishing on the lakes there and have always wanted to do a gator hunt but never have.  I figured while I am living in Texas, I might find some folks that did it here and give it a shot.  Let me know if you have any info or advice on it for me.  I appreciate it.

18  THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / Re: NEED Ranch Hand type bumpers for 1999 dodge-- can someone build me one? on: June 10, 2009, 09:08:07 pm
Do you know if he could build one for a Chevy 2500 HD.  Got hit a week ago and I need a new bumper so I thought I would go with an all steel one.  Where is he located?  Thanks.
19  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Native American artifacts on: June 01, 2009, 10:07:21 pm
I will get some pictures of my collection from here in Indiana.  I have an axe head and a bead and a couple of other neat things as well as several arrowheads.  Does anybody specifically go out to go arrowhead hunting?  I would love to go if anyone ever wants to tag along.  I have not been in years and absolutely love doing it.  Is there good artifact hunting in West Texas?  Cool stuff guys.
